Meet Dr. Petrie
John A. Petrie, D.D.S., F.A.G.D.
Dr. Petrie graduated from Marquette University in 1970 with a Bachelors Degree in Biology and entered Marquette Dental School. After graduating in 1974, he served as a Captain in the USAF Dental Corps in Dover, DE. Upon his return to the Chicago area in 1976, he entered into practice with Dr. Randal E. Willoughby, joining the Medical Staff at Resurrection Medical Center. He also served as an associate clinical professor in the Operative Dentistry Department at Loyola University Dental School.
Since 1975, Dr. Petrie has been a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and was awarded a Fellowship in 1983. He is an active member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society and the American Dental Association from 1976 until present.
Dr. Petrie resides in Park Ridge with his wife Marlene, a special education teacher with the Park Ridge School District. They have three adult children, John, Amy and Beth.
